Meet The Hosts

Maggie

Hello, I'm Maggie, a first generation Dominican and New Yorker who grew up in both the Dominican Republic and New York. I am also a passionate advocate for holistic wellness and personal empowerment. As a business owner, yoga and Kansa practitioner. My calling led me to work closely with special needs children, where I discovered the profound impact of mindfulness and alternative therapies. Transitioning into the role of a self-directed independent broker was a natural evolution for me. Empowering individuals to take control of their lives and make informed decisions aligns perfectly with my ethos of fostering independence and growth.

Yessie

Hi, I am Yessy one of the co-hosts of the podcast No Todo Se Cura Con Vicks. I am a first-generation Dominican American and a native of New York. I'm a Psychotherapist with a private practice and my concentration is trauma. I was raised in Upper West Manhattan, in an old city building where all my family lived. My Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and childhood friends., where I experienced a fun and caring childhood but also experienced challenges, Struggles, and trauma. My parents emigrated from the Dominican Republic in the 70s, based on their experiences as immigrants, I can relate to the struggle of feeling displaced and floating between two worlds that many first-generation Americans face.
